Refuge has a year-round manager
The mountain hut is located at the end of the Aragües-Jasa valley, in the Valles Occidentales Natural Park, on a plateau called the Llano de Lizara and beneath the towering Bisaurin peak. Because it can be reached by vehicle and its surroundings are truly magnificent, this mountain hut is a wonderful base from which to practice a variety of different mountain sports. Advocating and implementing an environmentally friendly management model, the Lizara mountain hut was awarded ISO 14001 certification in October 2004.Technical spec.:
