At an altitude of 2,357 m ASL, this refuge is located on the southern face of the Perafita pass, next to the Pera lakes and very close to Andorra. Surrounded by predominantly rounded mountains, it is an ideal location for beginners to downhill skiing and snowshoeing. In summer, its easy and accessibility make it an ideal refuge for introducing children to mountaineering.
