  Refuge has a manager for part of the year
Recently renovated, the building on which the current refuge stands today has more than 100 years of history. It is a beautiful wooden chalet located in one of the most important lacustrine areas in the Pyrenees. Colomina is part of the Carros de Foc hiking trail. In summer, there is a quick route from the Sallente reservoir using the Vall Fosca cable car.
