  Refuge has a manager for part of the year
Refugi d’Amitges is high-altitude mountain hut (2,365 m) operated by the Hiking Society of Catalonia in the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. The building is located in the mountains, staffed at certain times, offering accommodation, food and services for hikers and others. There is limited capacity and overnight stays are by reservation only. When the staffed section is closed, the emergency shelter with capacity for 12 people remains open.
