The Vignemale is one of the highest and most spectacular massifs in the Pyrenees. This trekking circuit combines routes through its impressive north and west slopes with a route around the nearby Arratille peak, passing through innumerable lakes or lakes of glacial origin that are so characteristic of the Pyrenean granite mountains. It is a trekking for medium-level mountaineers, which can be followed well thanks to the traces of the trails that it covers, but which, due to the heights of the hills through which it passes, still make it a high mountain route.
