  Refuge has a year-round manager
The Mallos de Riglos synclines are magnificent examples of conglomerate crag formations, veritable \'cathedrals of rock\' in which the vertical cliff drops can exceed 300 metres It is a superb and very popular place for climbing. And this is why in 1962 the Club de Montañeros de Aragón (Aragonese Mountaineers’ Club) built a mountain hut in this very spot. Years later, in partnership with the Federación Aragonesa de Montañismo (Aragonese Mountaineers’ Federation), it was remodelled and modernised and reopened to the public in 2007. This modernisation project allowed the building to adapt to new regulations and to offer better services to guests. This is also a very popular spot for nature and bird-lovers alike. Riglos has an birds interpretation centre where visitors can watch griffon vultures, bearded vultures and many other autochthonous birds.
