  Refuge has a manager for part of the year
Situated in one of the most spectacular and bucolic corners of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, the Prat d'Aguiló refuge was opened in 1976. It is an essential stop-off if you go on the Cavalls del Vent hiking route or if you want to reach Comabona peak at 2,548 m ASL, the highest peak in this part of the Sierra del Cadí range. It makes an excellent base camp for winter mountaineering.
