Refuge has a year-round manager
The Albergue Escuela de Montaña de Benasque (Benasque Mountaineering Hostel and School) is the only (CETDAM, Specialist High Mountain Sports Technification Centre) recognised by the Spanish National Sports Council, as well as being a Training Centre for Sports Technicians run by the Aragonese Mountaineering Federation. It is an ideal place for training mountain sports professionals, running sports academies and other general training courses, organising camping and also providing accommodation for individuals (subject to conditions). Its ample facilities and services are rounded off by its beautiful setting in Benasque Valley, a very popular high mountain sports destination in the Spanish Pyrenees. In the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park and in this unparalleled mountainous setting, the possibilities are almost endless.
