Next to Arrémoulit refuge (2305 m), we cross the damand then take the left bank following a path bordering the lower lake and crossing in a north-easterly direction over a relatively flat area. The path is obvious and is marked with cairns. After the flat area we start to descend the mountainside that closes off the Lac d'Artouste basin. Near the end of this descent, at a signposted crossroads, the path from Col d'Arrious joins from the left. Bear right towards the head of the reservoir following the western bank. At the end of this stretch there is a bridge (crossing with route 07) leading to the main dam (1997 m). At the other side there is a post indicating the path towards Carnau lakes. Ignore this sign and bear right. A wide path borders part of the lake on the north side. Near the end there is a footpath marked with cairns that starts the upward climb towards Batboucou lakes. Border round the south side until you reach the head of the second lake (2099 m). The path peters out but the route is obvious and there are several cairns marking the way to follow. We head up the valley over a gruelling scree to reach Col de la Lie (2469 m). A small mound separates two channels descending to Batbielh lake. Descend to the right (south) of the steep slope over broken ground which has painted markings and further on will mark out the entire route to Larribet. Be careful not to miss the point where we bear away from the channel, since missing it can make for a rather arduous walk. At around 2400 m the markings indicate a turning to the right where, with a simple climb, we overcome a small rocky outcrop. This leads to the granite cirque framing Lac de Bathbielh to the south. We border this cirque on a long horizontal route following the markings and partial footpaths until we reach an unnamed saddle (2429 m), which is visible from Col de la Lie. On the other side a stream descends to the east. There is not a continuous path but there are markings and cairns indicating the route to follow until, after a sharp right turn, we leave the stream over a rocky ledge.
The path bears firstly southeast and then south and is not always obvious, descending to Lou d'era Claou (2156 m). We cross the outlet from the lake over a chaotic boulder field and head up the other bank to join a path leading to Lavedán pass (crossing with routes 09, 13, 29 and 35). Bear left down to Larribet refuge (2072 m).
